Wednesday June 28, 2006 DIRT JUMPING

Let's get some air this Wednesday with Hot Mama Tara who wants to show us some fun jumps in Novato, then take us to Indian Valley for some singletrack riding and end the evening with beers and dinner at Moylans Brewery.

Bring knees/shin guards for the dirt jumping, and bring a light just in case it gets dark before we are done with riding.

Ride date: Wednesday June 28th, 2006
Meeting place: behind Costco, Novato (see below for driving directions)
Meeting time: 5:30 pm
Dirt Jumping starts: 5:45 pm for about an hour or so followed by a 1.5 hour ride
Ride skill level: Intermediate to Advance**

Driving Directions:
Coming from the 101, take the Rowland Blvd exit
at the 1st signal, turn right
at the 2nd signal, keep straight to stay at Rowland Blvd
At the very end of Rowland Blvd, there's a barricade to the open space....
just park at the barricade (close to Costco)

**IMPORTANT: Hot Mama Rides are classified as follow:
-Beginner: not applicable;
-Intermediate: not very technical singletracks and not very steep climbs, e.g. the front loop of China Camp;
-Intermediate to advance: some technical singletracks and some steep climbs e.g. Tamarancho loop;
-Advance: challenging singletracks with technical descends, steep climbs and tight switchbacks e.g. back side of China Camp, the Dominican side.
